Richard Titchnell, 66, of Wakeman, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at his home. He was born on September 10, 1946, in Kingwood, West Virginia, and lived in Wakeman for the last year, having lived in Marengo for the last 16 years.
He worked for GM for over 30 years. He was an Eagle Scout, and also served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie (Joe) Hembree, of Oberlin; son, Scott Titchnell of Oberlin; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Jared Hembree.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Wright) Titchnell; and his parents, Hobert and Martha (Kelley) Titchnell.
Friends may call Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman. Services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Browning Funeral Home, 201 East Main Street, Kingwood, West Virginia at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood, West Virginia.
