He worked for Opperman’s Cider Mill and retired from Vermilion Local Schools as a custodian. He was a member of the Birmingham United Methodist Church. He enjoyed square dancing, walking around town and taking care of his lawn.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Kathleen (Logan); his daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Davidson of Birmingham; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary (Mason) Davidson; his sisters, June Tischer and Donna Newhall; and a brother, James Harley Davidson.
Friends may call Thursday April 25, 2013, from 1 P.M., until the time of services at the Birmingham United Methodist Church on South Street in Birmingham. Pastor Dick Kretchmar will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at Birmingham Cemetery.
