Critter Chronicles: Katie

Katie is as sweet as she looks. Kate was surrendered to the shelter because of the health of her owner. She lived with two seniors so has never been around kids. That’s not to say she doesn’t like them. She’s a shy girl at first but warms up pretty quickly. She’s fine with dogs as long as they are docile. This little lady has impeccable house manners and is house-trained. Her former home had a big backyard for her to play in and she loved it. Probably a good idea since she has border collie in her. She loves to go for walks and car rides. Katie is afraid of thunder and other loud noises. She doesn’t like flashlights either. Her former owner says Katie’s a girl that needs lots of love and patience. Meet her and you’ll love her.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
