OLMSTED FALLS — Police say they’ve made an arrest in the slaying of a 20-year-old Cleveland man whose body was tied to a concrete block and steel pipe and dumped in a retention pond about 15 miles outside the city.
Police in Olmsted Township and the FBI Fugitive Task Force said they arrested a 36-year-old man at his Parma home Saturday, but he has not yet been charged.
The half-nude body of Carl Acoff was found in the pond April 17. Authorities used DNA to confirm his identity last week. He’d been reported missing March 27.
