Food

Spaghetti supper, 5 p.m. Wednesday at Rochester Methodist Church, state Route 511, Rochester. Adults are $6 and ages 12 and younger are $3. Proceeds benefit missions.

Lorain County “Celebrities Cook for Pathways” event, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Spitzer Conference Center, Lorain County Community College, 1005 N. Abbe Road, Elyria. Celebrity chefs include Mayor Holly Brinda of Elyria, Hope Moon of LCCC, Bob and Brenda Yost of Yost Construction, Bud Hagy of Bistro 83, Beth Maiden of Leadership Lorain County, Bill Harper of United Way of Greater Lorain County and Brad Sale of Avon Oaks Caring Community. Spring rummage sale, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Avon United Methodist Church, 37711 Detroit Road, Avon. Fill a bag for $3 on Saturday. Soups, baked goods, sandwiches and beverages will be sold. Clothing, household items, electronics, books, toys and more.

Children’s resale and bake sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Carlisle Township Town Hall, 11969 LaGrange Road, LaGrange. Gently used infant and children’s clothing, equipment, toys and more. General admission $3. Cash only. No bills larger that $20 accepted at the door.

Walk & Roll A Thon, registration starts at 9 a.m., walk begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Children’s Developmental Center, 150 Erie Court, Amherst. Participants will raise flat-rate pledges to be turned in the day of the walk. After completion of the walk, prizes will be awarded for the top three amounts of money raised. Family Fun Day events will follow the walk. Event will be held rain or shine. Wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are welcome, but bikes, skates and skateboards are not allowed. Car, truck and motorcycle show, registration at 9 a.m., show runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at American Legion Post 12, 393 Ohio St., Elyria. Cost is $10. Dash plaques for the first 100 registrants.
