Jean K. Goldsworth (nee Kozeluh), 88, of Elyria, died at her home Thursday, May 23, 2013, following a short illness. Mrs. Goldsworth was born February 24, 1925, in Cleveland, and made her home in Elyria the past two years, moving from Garfield Heights.
She attended Western Reserve College in Cleveland and was a homemaker who loved to read and travel. She loved cats.
She is survived by two sons, James E. (Denise) of Cleveland and Richard Goldsworth of Elyria; one daughter, Judy (John) Petranek of Cleveland; two grandsons, Michael and Eric Goldsworth; one great granddaughter, Kendall Meredith Goldsworth; and two step grandsons, John and Daniel Petranek.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Goldsworth, Jr. in 1988; one brother, Edwin Kozeluh; and her parents, James and May (nee Novak) Kozeluh.
As per her request, there will be no visitation or services.
Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, is handling the arrangements.
