Denise K. Hall (nee Ratcliff), 48, of Lorain, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, after a sudden illness. She was born December 1, 1964 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Denise enjoyed gardening, flowers, yardwork and crocheting blankets.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, James P. Hall; children, Kayla Heiland of Sandusky, Christopher Heiland of Columbus, Cindy Scaff and Christine Scaff, both of Tennessee, Larrisa Scaff-Hall and Jason Hall, both of Lorain; and sisters, Kim Dewitt of Lorain and Sue Ratcliff of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Ratcliff and mother, Omah Wilson (nee Sweeney).
The family will receive friends Friday, May 31, 2013, 10 A.M., until the time of funeral services at 12 P.M., at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. The Reverend Charles Keesee, Pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Elyria, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
