Margaret Barbara Thomson Renner (nee Watt), 87, of Elyria, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home, following a short illness. She was born April 22, 1926 in South Amherst. Elyria has been her home since she was three years old.
She graduated from Elyria High School in the Class of 1944. Margaret was a member of the Elyria First United Methodist Church since 1940, where she was a member of the Elizabeth Stevens Society, and attended the Tuesday A.M. Bible classes. Margaret was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #12 since 1971, and the Elyria VFW Auxiliary Post #1079. She was a member of the Elyria Senior Fellowship, and volunteered at The Wesleyan Village for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Jane (Leonard) White, Beth Anne (Jerry) Milos and Melinda Anne (Ronald) Billings, all of the Elyria area; grandchildren, Kyle (Rebecca) Milos, Kerry White, Grant Billings, Heather Milos, and Seth Billings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvel, who passed away two months before their 50th wedding anniversary on February 2, 1995; and by her parents, Alfred and Rae (nee Wilson) Watt.
Friends may call Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria. Funeral service will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11 A.M. at the Elyria First United Methodist Church, 312 3rd Street, Elyria. Rev. Roger Talbot, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
