11:13 p.m. — 3100 block Fulmer Road, Carl Olds, 23, 5700 block W. Erie Ave., Lorain, arrested and charged with violation of a temporary protection order. Two residents said they saw Olds waving a pistol outside the home of his estranged wife who has a protection order against him, according to police. One of the residents said Olds fired a shot as he ran away.
Saturday, June 8
6:33 a.m. — 2000 block Stonepath St., a resident said her satellite television wires were cut and she suspects a man who has been stalking her daughter. The resident said she saw the man standing in her backyard earlier.
3:14 p.m. — 4200 block Maple Road, David Keathley, 54, same address, charged with drunken driving, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license, but not arrested. Keathley was found lying on his back and had glassy eyes after crashing an ATV at a former junk yard set up as an obstacle course, according to police. Keathley was hospitalized at Mercy Regional Medical Center where a blood test was taken to determine his blood alcohol content.
7:57 p.m. — 1800 block E. 29th St., Shane Miclette, 18, 1800 block E. 32nd St., Conner Parker, 18, 2200 block W. 13th St., both of Lorain, each cited for persistent disorderly conduct and released. Police said they found the two men fighting and neither man was seriously injured.
10:30 p.m. — 2700 block Denver Ave., a resident said his apartment was burglarized with a front porch window broken to gain entry. A camera, night vision scope, T-shirts and tools were stolen with a combined value of $290. The resident said the burglary occurred between 9 and 10:30 p.m., and he suspects a man he said has been burglarizing houses in the neighborhood.
Wednesday, June 5
3:31 a.m. — 1600 block Cypress East. Kimberly K. Griffiths, 31, charged with two counts of endangering children.
Tuesday, June 4
7:14 pm. — A Conrad Street resident reported her cat being shot with a BB gun from an earlier incident. The woman told police she suspected a neighbor.
10:43 p.m. — Rosewood Boulevard. Residents of Timber Lake Townhomes reported a juvenile driving in a parking lot. Reports said the juvenile struck a garage and a vehicle and was charged.
Monday, June 3
1:41 a.m. — 1610 Moore Road. Police found a man sleeping in a vehicle in the parking lot of Value Place Hotel. Anthony D. Heath, 38, charged with open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
4 p.m. — 3000 block Jaycox Road. Resident reports burglary in which cash and a key ring were taken.
Sunday, June 2
3:18 p.m. — A woman came to the police department to report the apparent theft of her car. The woman told police her car broke down on I-90 near Nagel Road May 28 and when she returned the next day to meet a tow truck the vehicle was gone.
11:27 a.m. — 38490 Detroit Road. Staff of Avondale Golf Course reported trespassing and criminal damaging. Juvenile suspects were later located and charges were referred to Lorain County Juvenile Court.
