Critter Chronicles: Sam

Handsome Sam here. He was recently adopted by a young couple and returned. They gave him rave reviews but worked long hours and Sam would have separation anxiety when they were gone. He was crated but hated it and would get out of the crate. Sam lived with a 2 year old and likes kids of all ages. This loyal boy loved to go to the dog park too and play with the other dogs. He’s never been around cats. Sam has impeccable manners in the house, loves to ride in the car and also likes to play outside in a fenced in yard. He is a curious boy and has been known to open doors. Sam would thrive with a retired couple or a family that is home most of the time. It might be best if there was another dog in the family too to ease his anxiety. You’ll never find a better pooch than Sam!

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
