Helen E. Shroyer (nee Shellhouse), 88, of Grafton Township, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville. She was born October 12, 1924, in Menomonie, Wisconsin, and was a graduate of Lorain High School class of 1942 B.
She lived throughout Ohio before moving to Elyria and then to Grafton in 1961. Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she taught primary Sunday school for many years.
Helen is survived by her husband of 66 years, Gerald W.; children, Herbert (Carol) Shroyer, Patricia (Paul) Keressi, Timothy (Ruth) Shroyer, Cynthia (Steve) Farley and Clayton Shroyer; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Shroyer; parents, Arthur and Theresa Shellhouse; brothers, Marvin and Theodore Shellhouse; and sisters, Twyla Cryder and Margaret Coverdell.
Friends will be received Wednesday, June 19, 2013, from 10 A.M., until the time of a Noon service, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12900 South Durkee Road, Grafton. Bishop Ray Anderson will be presiding, with burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
