Aida was a graduate of Sandusky High School. Mrs. Dore had been a resident of Lorain since 1951. She was a parishioner of the Catholic Church of St. Peter. Dedicated to spending time with her family, she was an accomplished cook who enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting in her free time.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony Dore, Jr. (Darlene) of Brownhelm Township, and Ronald Dore (Amy) residing in Collins; and her daughter, Kathleen Kinsley-Hoffman (Fred) of Florence Township; she also leaves six grandchildren; along with her brother, Nicholas LaFace, Jr. (Jane) of Olney, Illinois; and sister, Mary Graziani of Sandusky.
Aida was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Dore, Sr., in 2006; by her son in law, John Kinsley in 2005; and by her parents, Nicholas LaFace, Sr. and Rose LaFace (nee Polito).
Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M., in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral service will begin at 9 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2013 in the funeral chapel, and will be followed by the celebration of her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M., in the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Avenue. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
