Arline Frances Brown, 89, a longtime resident of Avon, died Friday afternoon, July 5, 2013, at Rae Ann Suburban Nursing Home in Westlake. She was born June 12, 1924, in Cleveland, to the late Augustus and Clara (nee Fuelling) Berschig.
Arline was a key punch supervisor at Statistical Tabulating Corp. and a member of V.F.W Post 1079 Auxiliary, Elyria. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting and gardening.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula Ressler (Richard) of North Olmsted; son, Gerald Brown (Patti) of Raleigh, North Carolina; grandchildren, Dawn Kensington, Michelle O’Grady (Mike), Chicago, Frank Ressler (Jen), Cuyahoga Falls, and Spencer, Wyatt and Rory Brown of Raleigh, North Carolina, Christi Truck, Tricia Smith-Graham, Michael and Robert Smith ; great grandchildren, Chase Kensington, Gavin and Nicholas Ressler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Brown; daughter, Lolly Brown; and siblings, Ray and Harry Berschig, Doris Miller and Ruth Brown.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 3 until 6 P.M., in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Monday, July 8, 2013. There will be additional visitation from 10:30 A.M., until the time of services on Monday. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
