Zangari, James PhotoOBIT FLAGJames A. Zangari, 91, of Avon, passed away peacefully at the Ames Hospice House in Westlake, Wednesday, July 3, 2013. He was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania.

He was a WWII Army veteran, he served during the war in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was a Foreman at Bendix Corporation, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and VFW 1079. He enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family.

Mr. Zangari is survived by his wife, Florence (nee Sutton); daughter, Sharon Pulig (Patrick) of North Ridgeville; step children, Cheryl Polk of Berea and Dian Jenkins-Vialpando (Bob) of Durango, Colorado; grandchildren, Patrick (Melissa) and Steven (Jennifer) Pulig; great grandchildren, Giada, Carmela, Madelina; and step great grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Bernice (nee Matvichuk); great grandson, Carter; and his sisters, Sarah Boyson and Mary Grasso.

A Mass will be said in his honor at 8 A.M., Monday, July 15, 2013 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 33601 Detroit Rd., Avon. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Mausoleum, Avon, with Fr. Gosner to officiate.
