Ola Faye (Lee) Sager, 78, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. Born on February 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Guy E. Lee and Cora Mae (Hunkerford) Lee.
She was retired, but had been a cook in various truck stops and restaurants over the years. Faye was a great cook; she loved to read, do crossword puzzles, sew, do needlework, and was especially fond of going to yard sales while she was still able.
She is survived by her children, Debra L. (Sager) Williams, Guy Edward “3-speed” Sager, Michael C. “Wheezer” Sager; grandchildren, Ginger Dawn Sager, Julie Ann Bickel, Candy Monique Allen, Angel Dawn James; brothers and sisters, Nola Lee, Ida Clark, Robert Lee, Bonnie Blair, Flossie Keys; half brother and sister, Chuck Lee, Tammy Rosser; and lots of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Roger Hernandez; ex-husbands, Fredrick C. Sager and Chester E. Motznik; half brothers and sisters, Loren “Abe” Lee, Homer Lee, Harry “Rass” Lee, Guy Lee, Bessie Goodin; sisters, Sue Bobo, Sandra Riley, June Cain, Connie Mayles; and her grandson, JD Sager.
She was cremated and a memorial service will be held 7 P.M., Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home Alternatives, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Dr. Lisa Morrison will officiate. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
