Constance A. Thompson

ThompsonConstanceConstance A. Thompson (nee Hoag), age 89, of Elyria, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Life Care Center of Elyria.

She was born in Lorain and had been a resident of Elyria since 1999, moving from North Ridgeville.

Constance was a member of Sugar Ridge Baptist in North Ridgeville and previously attended Harvest Ridge Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and beadwork.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherryl Copley of Elyria; son, Robert Thompson Jr. of Elyria; grandchildren, David and Michael Copley, Chuck Thompson, Amy (Mike) Piwinski and Alyse Thompson; three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Thompson Sr. in 1997 and sister, Velma Schroeder and parents, Clarence and Irene Hoag.

Friends may call Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of services at 1 P.M. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Mike Manosky will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery.
