Lorain police

Friday, July 12

3:36 p.m. — 3600 block Oberlin Ave., Steven Majcher, 54, Lorain, charged with disorderly conduct and public indecency after a police officer witnessed him urinating as he walked down the street with himself exposed.

3:56 p.m. — 5200 block Oberlin Ave., 54-year-old woman reportedly assaulted by two females she identified as her nieces at her place of employment. The woman was taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center for treatment and police have not been able to find the females. Witness statements detailing the assault including how the females used a broom handle to beat the victim were taken by police.

9:11 p.m. — 900 block E. 34th St., woman finds a gun at her home and calls police to turn over the firearm. The 32-caliber pistol was registered as stolen through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 29.

9:55 p.m. — East 28th Street near Elyria Avenue, police arrest Dietras Geiger, 20, Lorain, and charge her with obstructing official business and cite her for driving without a valid license, running a red traffic light and improper display of license plate.

Saturday, July 13

12:26 a.m. — 700 block E. 34th St., birthday party hostess, Heather Saunders, 25, charged with disturbing the peace.

2:25 a.m. — 700 block Washington Ave., Brian Hampton, 50, and Penny Murphy, 49. both charged with domestic violence.
