Monday, July 15

9:01 a.m. — 300 block Furnace St., a woman reported that eggs and a can of fruit had been thrown at her vehicle. Police said the can of fruit damaged the vehicle’s windshield.

4:47 p.m. — 700 block West River Road North, a woman reported that a 9- to 12-year-old boy stole her son’s bicycle while he was getting water for the boy. The bicycle that belonged to the woman’s 9-year-old son was described as a white BMX-style bike with skull emblems and black rear pegs.

7:45 p.m. — 1800 block Middle Ave., reported burglary of a home. Police said nothing appeared to be taken, but a window was broken and blood splatter was found on the broken window and throughout the house.

10:44 p.m. — Lake Avenue and West River Road North, Lindsey Bartram, 19, 100 block Bath St., arrested and charged with resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, drunken driving and underage drinking. Bartram, accused of leaving the scene of an accident on Fowl Road, appeared drunk when stopped by an officer, police said. Bartram refused to take a field sobriety test, resisted being handcuffed and tried to get out of a police cruiser that she was placed in, according to police.

Tuesday, July 16

2:23 a.m. — 200 block N. Gateway Blvd., a man reported that an unknown person placed what he believed to be human feces on his vehicle that was parked in the driveway. Police said the feces covered the hood and driver’s side door.
