Critter Chronicles: Rufus

Meet Rufus! He has plenty of life left in him! Heartworm positive, Rufus underwent treatment, then went to recuperate in the country. The fresh air and attention he received from his dog pals as well as his cat comrades have proved to be the treatment he needed to get back to full strength. Rufus is now ready to find his forever home. He’s a very smart guy who knows basic commands. He loves everybody and everything he meets. He’s great on a leash, loves car rides, and wants to be a lap dog. Rufus is currently still living with his foster family. If you would like to meet him please call the shelter at 440-322-4321 to schedule an appointment. Or contact his foster mom directly at lingreenwald@hotmail.com.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
