Walter Veiock

Walter Veiock, 83, a resident of Avon, for the past 30 years, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at EMH Healthcare, following a brief illness. He was born August 7, 1929 in Pennsylvania.

Walter served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for 22 years at Fruehauf and retired from Shelby Paper as a Group Leader. He enjoyed woodworking and made decorations for every holiday.

Mr. Veiock is survived by his son, Walter E. Veiock, Jr. of Sheffield Lake; and daughter, Linda Smith (Dennis) of Amherst Township; grandchildren, Kimberly, Jennifer, and Adam; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (February 2013); and his parents.

Visitation will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon. Funeral service will be 1:30 P.M., Friday, July 26, 2013, at the funeral home.
