10:45 p.m. —10th Street and West Avenue, a man was reportedly swerving and driving down West Avenue and then 11th Street. Police said the man fled his vehicle and tried to hide from police behind an air conditioner but he was found and arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing official business.
9:27 p.m. — 600 block Taylor St., a woman told police her ex-boyfriend was stalking her. She said he arrived at her daughter’s work when she was there and harassed her to get out of the car to “talk.” She also told police he also called her constantly and broke into her home. The woman is pursuing charges.
6:39 p.m. — 400 block Lake Ave., police said a man tried to conceal ground-up Percocet in his mouth while driving. When police pulled him over and questioned him, a “small white cloud of dust” came out of his mouth. The man was charged with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence as well as two traffic violations.
6:00 p.m. — 300 block Maple St., a woman told police her ex-boyfriend is harassing her. She said he calls her constantly and has threatened to kill her and her family. The woman is pursuing a temporary protection order.
5:10 p.m. — 400 block Sixth St., a man said someone stole his bike between 4 and 4:30 p.m. when he left it on his porch.
4:50 p.m. — 1000 block Chestnut Commons, a man and a woman allegedly shoplifted a pack of ribs out of a grocery store. They were issued citations for theft.
3:15 p.m. — 4500 Midway Mall, police said a woman tried to steal almost $200 worth of merchandise from JCPenney’s by putting it in her purse. She was given a citation for shoplifting.
1:15 p.m. — 200 block John St., a woman told police she was abused by a man she knew. The man allegedly tried to suffocate her with a pillow and hit her multiple times. The man then allegedly forced her to get into a car and drive him around. The man was arrested for resisting arrest, abduction and two domestic violence charges.
6:29 a.m. — 300 block Augusta Drive, a woman reported that someone stole two iPods from her truck while it was parked in her driveway.

11:41 p.m. — Colorado and Kansas avenues, a man drove into an electrical pole. He admitted to police that he had been drinking and officers reported finding open bottles of beer in the car. The man was transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center and agreed to a blood alcohol test.
8:14 p.m. —1500 block Maine Ave., a man said his girlfriend punched him in the face multiple times. The girlfriend told police she was angry because her boyfriend was “cutting up” her sex toys.
5:28 p.m. — 1900 block E. Erie Ave., AndreDonte Lee, 22, 1100 block Euclid Ave., Lorain, arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and aggravated trespass. Lee threatened to harm a former employer and the employer’s family during an argument over money Lee said he was owed, according to police. A neighbor’s video of the argument confirmed the employer’s account, police said.
4:11 p.m. — 2200 block Fairless Drive, Dollar General, a woman was charged with shoplifting socks, T-shirts and more. She was asked to return the items but refused and left the store. The store clerk said the suspect has stolen from Dollar General multiple times before.
10:52 a.m. — 800 block W. 23rd Ave., a woman reported a missing 14-year-old boy who had an argument with his father around midnight and left the house. He was last seen wearing black shorts with a red stripe.
9:39 a.m. — Apples, 1051 Meister Road, Eric E. Davis, 50, 400 block W. 15th St., Lorain, arrested and charged with robbery. Davis shoved two security guards, according to the guards who said he was shoplifting. They said he was stopped by multiple employees outside the store. Davis denied pushing the guards and said he was just trying to run and he bumped into them, police said.
