Critter Chronicles: Ruca

Ruca-apl

Meet Ruca. The meaning of Ruca is “old lady” or “true love”. This Ruca is young and is going to be someone’s true love. Her owner surrendered her to the shelter because they had a change in lifestyle. Ruca is a very active dog and still has many puppy traits. She loves to run and play. A fenced in yard is not a must but she would enjoy her own yard to run free. She will run if not on a leash. Ruca was great with her neighbor’s dog but she does not like cats. Being only a year old she will need some training. Because of this kids in Ruca’s new family should be older than 7 years old. This lovable girl is frightened by sudden movements and loud noises. Ruca is a good girl that would love to find an active home to call her own.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
