7:08 a.m. — 300 block Kentucky Ave., a woman said that between Monday and Tuesday, someone threw a rock through the window of her car and stole her makeup bag.
8:36 a.m. — 400 block Augusta Ave., a woman said that someone broke her car window while her car was parked in her driveway. There was a brick lying next to the car and nothing was taken. The woman thinks it was someone she knew.
12:25 p.m. —1300 block F St., a woman left her car unlocked while it was parked at her house. She found the car door open in the morning and her GPS lying in her neighbor’s yard.
6:53 p.m. — LACADA, 1882 E. 32nd St. an employee said two small holes were made in a glass window of the building. She said she thinks it happened at 5:30 p.m. that day.
11:04 p.m. — West 21st Street and Washington Avenue, a man said he was chased in his car by three men on foot who were throwing rocks at him. He said he thinks one of the men had a gun.
Tuesday, Aug. 13
11:15 a.m. — 200 block Washington Ave., a woman said she woke up to find her boyfriend’s car keys missing and his gold Nissan Altima missing from the parking lot. She said she thinks it was taken by someone she knows.
4:30 p.m. — 100 block Floral Court, Aaron Ritter, 46, charged with assault after Ritter allegedly got into a fight with his friend. The friend said Ritter punched him on top of the head and grabbed him by the throat. Ritter said he did not punch his friend, and a witness agreed with Ritter.
4:56 p.m. — 400 block Lake Ave., a woman said that the father of her children against whom she has a protection order violated the order by coming to her job at Family Dollar and asking to get back together. He also told her she “took his breath away.”
7:18 p.m. — 100 block West Ave., a woman said that her children lost their black Nintendo 3DS while they were shopping with her at JC Penney’s on Midway Boulevard.
8:45 p.m. — 200 block 14th St., Ebony Burks, 32, was charged with domestic violence and contempt of court after she got into a fight with her grandfather in front of her house and spat in his face. After police stopped her, they found that she had an outstanding warrant for assault and charged her with that as well.
