Mary worked at General Industries in Elyria and Crystal Clear Cleaners in Lorain. She was a former member of the Church of St. Peter in Lorain, where she helped install the stained glass windows in the church when it was constructed. Mary enjoyed crocheting, crafts, baking and cooking and was a member of St. Ann Lodge Br #114.
She is survived by her brothers, John Dziak (Frances) of Lorain and Andrew “Butch” Dziak (Jean) of Sheffield Village; sisters, Katherine “Kay” Brest (Andrew) of Phoenix, Arizona, Agnes Dziak of Boston, Massachusetts and Margaret Heller (Rich) of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mauro; parents, Charles and Susan Dziak (nee Madansky); brothers, Charles, Joseph and Paul Dziak; and sisters, Anna Zadorozny, Sue Lehman and Pauline Kudrin.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 9 A.M.in the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth DeLuca officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
