8:59 a.m. – 700 block Brownwell Ave., reported damage to a vehicle. The vehicle’s owner suspected her ex-boyfriend.
12:02 p.m. – 300 block W. 10th St., report of a rock thrown through an apartment window.
3:12 p.m. – 1800 block Elyria Ave., Felix Rodriquez, 39, 1900 block Nichols Ave., arrested and charged with theft and criminal trespass. Employees at Lorain County Recycling told police Rodriquez, who was previously banned from the property, stole a key to a Bobcat construction vehicle and ran when confronted. Rodriguez admitted to looking inside the vehicle, but he denied stealing the keys. Police said the keys were found on the ground in the area from which Rodriquez was seen running.
4:55 p.m. – 1100 block W. 10th St., reported damage to a vehicle by a piece of asphalt.
5:55 p.m. – 2900 block Pearl Ave., the owner of $25 Couch told police he was grabbed and pushed by an unknown man who came into the store with a woman who believed he was selling her items. The owner of $25 Couch said the woman did not find her items in the store, and the man became angry. Police could not locate the suspects.
