Dawn L. Lebanik (nee Burgett), 62, formerly of Vermilion, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013, at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio. She was born July 8, 1951 in Oberlin to the late Jack and Patricia (nee Hoffman) Burgett. She lived the early part of her life there and graduated from Oberlin High School. Following that, she spent many years living in Vermilion.
Dawn had previously attended Worldwide Church of God in Lorain.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Andrew, currently of Lorain; her sons, David and Gabriel Lebanik, both of Lorain, Paul Cornwell, of Salem, Ohio and Scott Cornwell, of Spokane, Washington; four grandchildren; her brothers, Steve Burgett, Plymouth, Ohio, John Burgett, of East Lansing, Michigan, and David Burgett of Texas; her sisters, Cynthia Burgett, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Candy Martin, of Decatur, Indiana, Amy Webber, of Oberlin and Margie Lisle, of LaGrange.
The Lebanik family will receive friends Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 5 to 7 P.M., in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where a funeral service will be held at 7 P.M.
