Margie was employed for 28 years at General Motors Fisher Body in Elyria and then at the General Motors, Brook Park Plant, retiring in 1982. She was a sports fan and loved music, especially the Blues. She enjoyed singing and playing her guitar with family and friends which inspired the musical talents of her grandchildren.
Margie is survived by her daughter, Judy (Kenneth) Deminski of Elyria, with whom she made her home; sons, Nick (Jean) Mowery of Christiana, Tennessee, Shannon (Maryann) Mowery of Melbourne, Florida and Hank Mowery of Elyria; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and sisters, Joan Litteral of Argillite, Kentucky and Ruth Evans of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Elwood Mowery in 1950; sisters, Edna Songer, Virginia Wyant, Carrie Pack, Dorothy Hickman, Sue Wadsworth and Joyce Ensor; brothers, George, Woodrow and Charles Evans; and parents, George and Hattie Evans.
A graveside service will be 12 Noon, Friday, October 4, 2013 at Heberlin Cemetery On The Hill in Wurtland, Kentucky.
