Police identify suspects in stolen SUV crash

Danielle Grogg, pictured in 2010, and Michael Storrow, pictured in 2011, were injured in an SUV crash Sunday night.

The two individuals who police say crashed a stolen SUV Sunday night remain hospitalized at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

North Ridgeville Police Capt. Marti Garrow said Danielle Grogg, 31, of Elyria, was driving the SUV when it crashed on Sugar Ridge Ridge Road Sunday night. Metro Health said Grogg is conscious and in fair condition.

The passenger in the vehicle, Michael Storrow, 31, also of Elyria, is in critical condition, according to Metro Health.

The owner of the SUV reported his vehicle was stolen from a Speedway in Elyria at about 9 p.m. Sunday.

Grogg has a history of theft, drug abuse, disorderly conduct, OVI charges in Elyria since 2001. Storrow has a history of receiving stolen property, drug and tampering with evidence charges in Elyria since 2001.

The two haven’t been charged for the Sunday theft of the SUV from Speedway.

Elyria and North Ridgeville police are continuing to investigate.
