Suspects in burglary apprehended at Elyria Burger King

Two burglary suspects were apprehended Wednesday at the Burger King on Broad Street in Elyria, according to Lorain County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Josh Croston.

The burglary occurred earlier Wednesday in the 4600 block of Russia Road in Elyria. Police said two guns were stolen from the residence.

At 10:20 a.m., witnesses called in a license plate number believed to belong to the suspects. Authorities pulled over the vehicle near Burger King.

Two males were taken away in separate police cars.
