Brian C. Rummel, 49, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 1, 1964 in Parma. Brian worked for The Lubrizol Corporation. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with people. Brian was an animal advocate, and enjoyed competition showing of dogs, horses, cattle, yard work, gardening, and was a naturalist.
Survivors include a daughter, Ashley N. Rummel (fiance Jenyaa Taylor) of Elyria; and his parents, Raymond and Aldean (nee Stockdale) Rummel of Hamilton, Pennsylvania. Additional survivors include two sisters, Debbie D. Walker (Ron) of Cranberry, Pennsylvania, Kimberley D. Neigh (Greg) of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; three nieces, Nicole, Kimberley, Grace; and two nephews, Cameron and Austin; aunts and an uncle.
Family will receive friends 3 until 7 P,M., Thursday, August 29, 2013, at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria (440)322-4626. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 31, 2013, at The Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Dayton, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brian’s memory, can be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
