He served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a welder/iron worker for U.S. Steel, retiring in 1999. He loved bowling, working on his model trains, and was an avid reader. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Teresa (nee Graham); two sons, Vince (Amy) Thomas of Columbus and Michael Sartoski of Akron; two daughters, Diana Thomas of Atlanta, Georgia and Amy (Michael) Marron of Avon Lake; brother, George “Mickey” Thomas of Lorain; and 10 loved grandkids, Michael L., Michelle, Sean, Scott, Matthew, Demetri, Mackenzie, Michael S., Louise and Karlee.
