Deborah Wright (nee Milner), 63, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. Deborah was born in Elyria on July 16, 1950, to her loving parents, Denby C. and Lola R. (nee Ramsey) Milner.
Deborah graduated from North Ridgeville High School, Class of 1968 and attended The Ohio State University. She married Jerry Wright on February 3, 1972 and they raised three children together. Deborah worked at Best Buy District office in Pittsburgh as an administrative assistant for 19 years. She enjoyed reading, writing, poetry and beach vacations.
She is survived by her parents, Denby and Lola Milner; children, Joy (Bill) Downing, Jason (Leah) Wright and Josh (Krista) Wright; grandchildren, Bethany, Tyler, Ethan and Megan; siblings, Dennis (Atalie) Milner, Linda (Gary) Bolin and Doug (Angel) Milner; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years of marriage, Jerry L. Wright.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, (440) 244-1961, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M. A private burial will be held at a later date at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Deborah’s name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
