Injured bicyclist downgraded at Metro

COLUMBIA STATION — John Ondrejovich, the bicyclist critically injured after being struck by a car Thursday, has had a setback.

Ondrejovich was downgraded from fair condition to critical condition at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland on Tuesday, according to Tina Shaerban-Arundel, a Metro spokeswoman. Ondrejovich had been upgraded Monday.

Ondrejovich, 51, of the 33000 block of Henwell Road in Columbia Station, was struck on Osborne Road. about a half-mile west of Station Road. Driver Severio Nardo, 75, of the 26000 block of Crocker Landing in Columbia Station, said he couldn’t see Ondrejovich because of sun glare.
