Marion honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 421 for 54 years. After his deployment, Marion went on to work at Ohio Bell for 42 years as an installer. He was an avid fisherman, bowler, and enjoyed playing card games. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially their Alaska trip. In his spare time Marion volunteered as a shuttle driver for Southwest General Hospital.
Marion is survived by his loving children, Beth (Dave) Lofy, Tim Biranowski, and Kathy (Bob) Quintiliano; dear grandchildren, Matthew Lofy and Michael and Melissa Quintiliano.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Aleta; and his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 11 A.M., at Holy Martyrs Church, 3100 S. Weymouth Rd, Medina. Friends may call Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 4 to 8 P.M., at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, and one hour prior to Mass Thursday, September 26, 2013, at church from 10 A.M., until 11 A.M. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
