Plummer B. Logan, 82, of North Ridgeville, formerly Eaton Township, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Ohio Veterans Home, after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Mr. Logan was born March 22, 1931 in Gregeryville, Kentucky and had lived in Eaton Township for 42 years, before moving to Greenville, West Virginia and then returning to the area three years ago.
He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Upon return from the service he began a career with the Ford Motor Company, Brook Park, which would last for the next 33 years.
Mr. Logan was a member of the Church of God, Linside, Virginia. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, but mostly he enjoyed being with his family.
Plummer is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane A. (nee Davis); children, Donald (Freda) of Tazewell, Virginia, Ronald (Bonnie) of Cincinnati, Eddie of Grafton, Joyce Boyd and Alta Logan, both of North Ridgeville; he is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
