Steven D. Trubach

Steven D. Trubach, 55, of Lorain, passed away peacefully at University Hospitals Case Medical trubachsteveCenter in Cleveland on the afternoon of Sunday, October 6, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born in Amherst on March 14, 1958 and had been a resident of Lorain for the past 35 years.

Steven was a 1976 graduate of Brookside High School where he was a member of the marching band. At the time of his passing he was employed as a driver for Murray’s Trucking Company, he had previously worked in the same capacity for both Jonick Trucking and A & E Automotive. Mr. Trubach attended the United Church of Christ Sheffield Lake. In his free time he enjoyed auto racing and working on race cars.

He is survived by his parents, David J. and Alice E. (nee Stout) Trubach of Sheffield Lake; his brother, David B. (Cynthia) Trubach of Lorain; and sisters, Nancy E. Trubach (Thomas Laseter) residing in Richmond, Texas and Karen S. Kimbrell (Richard) living in Weston Lakes, Texas; additional survivors include nephews, Benjamin Trubach and Richard Kimbrell, Jr.; niece, Carys Trubach; his companion, Julie Miller; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be observed at a later date.
