Delise M. Miller, 33, of South Amherst, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was born December 11, 1979 in Elyria.
Delise was a graduate of Oberlin High School, Class of 1998. She was very active in the Firelands Schools PTG, room mother, walkathons, and other school related functions. Her passions included collecting elephant memorabilia, being an organized couponer, and a devoted mother of two. She also enjoyed baking for her family and friends, gardening, and her special weekly outings with her sons. Delise gave the Gift of Life to others as a tissue donor through Life Banc.
Delise was the loving mother of Joshua Carpino and Michael Danforth; loving companion of Paul C. Danforth; beloved sister of Nicholas Miller; granddaughter of Isabel Socey of Elyria and Richard and Bonnie Socey of Spokane, Washington. She is also survived by Paul’s family, Pixie Danforth and Victoria Danforth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Sandra Miller (nee Socey) and Paul C. Danforth, Sr.
The family will receive friends 2 to 6 P.M., Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. A funeral service will begin at 6 P.M., with the Rev. Dan Reinke officiating. Private entombment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
