Thomas Earl Brewer, Jr., 57, of Wakeman, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at his home. Thomas was born April 6, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee. He had been a Wakeman resident for the past two years, moving from Vermilion.
Thomas retired after 32 1/2 years as a quality control inspector for Ford Motor, Avon Lake. Most recently he was working for Benchmark in Norwalk. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, camping and his grandchildren. He was an excellent motorcycle mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Brewer (nee Yelensky) of Wakeman; son, Eric Brewer of Vermilion; daughter, Stephanie (Angie) Brewer of Columbus; mother, Emilie Long of Huron; grandchildren, Travasia Coleman, Manuel Coleman, Allenina White, and Thomas Rider Brewer; sister, Jeannie (Bob) Henery of Huron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and biker buddies who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Earl Brewer, Sr. in 1981; and step father, Thomas Edward Long, Sr. in 2012.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 7, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11 A.M. The Reverend Bob Nickester will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Berlin Heights.
