Edna Bosely-Woodyard (nee Stalnaker), 95, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013, at her home, following a brief illness. She was born February 4, 1918 in Corley, West Virginia and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Edna worked as a cashier at EMH Healthcare for 21 years, retiring in 1980. She attended Midway Baptist Church in Elyria, was a member of the Silver Saints and the Jolly 60s and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her stepdaughters, Virginia MacDonald of Lorain, Linda Gore of New London and Betty Spaulding of Elyria; daughter-in-law, Beatrice Bosely of Wakeman; stepsons, James Woodyard of Amherst and Randall Woodyard of Elyria; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Camden Bosely; second husband, Fred Woodyard; sons, Paul and Larry Bosely; stepson, Don Woodyard; two grandchildren; sister, Anna Perkins; and brothers, Ernie, Ryan, William, Sam, Allen, Tom, and Dee Stalnaker.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 2 P.M., until the time of services at 5 P.M., at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Burial will be Friday, October 11, 2013, at Falls Mills Cemetery, Flatwoods, West Virginia.
