Sue LeMaster

LeMasterCitaSue LeMaster, on the morning of Saturday, October 5, 2013, died after a brief illness. She passed away on her 61st wedding anniversary to her deceased husband Robert J LeMaster. This farm boy from Indiana swept the city girl off her feet and moved to Lorain to raise their five children.

She leaves a loving family and friends who will flourish in their wonderful memories of the “Irish Package” for the balance of their lives! Sue was born in Pickerington, Ohio on April 28, 1934.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and James Drugan; siblings, Jack, Jim and Janet.

She was employed in multiple sales positions; she also shared her love of communication and art as a volunteer at area nursing homes. She belonged to Lorain Lions Club as Chaplin, Avon Senior Center Scrabble Club and was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Devoted mother, grandmother, reader, artist and Southview Saint Parent.

She is survived by her five children, Patti Miller (Elyria), Diana (Dan) Brattoli (Grafton), Mike (Peggy) LeMaster (Chicago), Jim LeMaster (Avon), Tim (Fern) LeMaster (Atlanta); 12 grandchildren, Leah (Andrew) Blazek, Erin (Kevin) Goist, Jared (Victoria) Brattoli, Andrew LeMaster, Cory Miller, Rob LeMaster, Sara (Steve) Kobylski, Daniel Brattoli, Emma LeMaster, Hanna LeMaster, Katie LeMaster and Luke LeMaster; six great grandchildren, Kylee Kobylski, Tommy Kobylski, Vivienne Goist, Brody Brattoli; step great grandchildren, Briana and Makayla Cole; a niece, Christa Martney.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.

Memorial donations may be sent to Blessing House, Lorain.
