Critter Chronicles: Kickstand

Kickstand-apl
You may think Kickstand is a weird name for a dog but not for this one. Kickstand got his name because he was run over by a police car and injured his back leg. It has healed and he is okay but one of his back legs does not work properly, hence the name Kickstand. This fellow has no trouble getting around, he’s just slower than other dogs.  Kick is a rescue from another shelter so not much is known about him.   He’s a friendly gentle boy that is a definite lap dog and loves people and attention.  Because of his age and leg, it’s best if Kickstand were adopted into an adult household or one with older children. You really have to come and see this sweet tiny boy.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
