Everett A. “Bob” Farren

FarrenEverettOBIT FLAGEverett A. “Bob” Farren, 74, of Elyria, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013, at his home. Mr. Farren was born in Oakhill, West Virginia, on May 3, 1939. He was an Elyria resident for the past 30 years.

Mr. Everett was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 20 years of service, including tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Mr. Everett worked in security.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen (nee Wolfram); one daughter, Deanna Trembley of Elyria; one son, Timothy Michael Farren, also of Elyria; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles (Karen) Farren of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and David Farren; one daughter, Debora Bott; and his parents.

The family will received friends Thursday, October 24, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd), North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be Friday, October 25, 2013, 10 A.M., at the funeral home. Pastor Dave Woolsey, Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Avon, will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
