Dana M. Boesch

Boesch_DanaDana M. Boesch (nee Harris), 40, of Elyria, passed away at home Friday, October 25, 2013 following a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. She was born August 3, 1973 in Elyria.

Dana was a 1991 Midview High School graduate and earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. She worked as a Realtor with Northern Ohio Realty.

Dana treasured spending time with her children vacationing and camping. She enjoyed baking, quilting and volunteering her time at local food pantries.

Survivors include her children, Jessica L. Boesch and James S. Boesch, both of Elyria; her parents, Jim M., Jr. and Debbie J. (nee Wilburn) Harris of Columbia Station; additional survivors include her sister, Cherie A. Vettel (Andrew) of LaGrange; maternal grandparents, Bob and Marie Wilburn of Elyria; paternal grandfather, James M. Harris, Sr. of Eaton Twp.

Dana was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Harris; and her paternal grandmother, LaRue Harris.

Family will receive friends 4 to 7 P.M., Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, (440) 322-4626, where closing prayers will be at 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 708 Erie St., Grafton, OH 44044. Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton.
