- 6:14 p.m. — 300 block S. Professor St., theft of a security camera. The resident told police that he had other security cameras on his property that may have recorded the theft, and he said he would review the tapes.
Wednesday, Oct. 24
- 9:38 p.m. — Tappan Square, an intoxicated teenager was taken to the hospital after police found him lying in the square. The juvenile’s mother came to the hospital, and she said her son was only 13 and was unaware of where he would get alcohol.
Sunday, Oct. 27
- 2:15 a.m. — 100 block N. Park St., Laqua Butler, 33, of Lorain, arrested and charged with disorderly conduct intoxicated persisting. Police were called to a home by the homeowner who said there was a dispute between two of her guests, one of whom was Butler. Police arrived to find Butler intoxicated and belligerent, according to a police report. Butler allegedly refused to leave the home, because he didn’t want to leave his car in the driveway, and told police to “Rodney King” him, because he was “black and liked lawsuits and free money.”
