Woman reports Lexington break-in

LORAIN — A Lorain woman arrived home to find a man running out of her house.

Around noon Tuesday, Linda Faurot, 60, told police that she was coming home from work when she watched a young man with short hair wearing a tan jacket and dark pants running from the patio in the back of her house on the 3400 block of Lexington Avenue.

The man briefly looked at Faurot and then ran north on Lexington Avenue, she told police.

Faurot told police that she locked all of the doors to her house when she left around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. However, when police checked her house, they found the back door open and one of the patio windows opened from the inside, according to the report.

Nothing was missing, Faurot told police.
