Elizabeth F. Schuster (nee Traczyk), 91 years old, of Elyria, died on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Rae-Ann Suburban Home in Westlake. Mrs. Schuster was born March 9, 1922 in Lorain and was a life long resident of Elyria.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and baking wedding cakes. She assisted her late husband with his business, Schuster Well Drilling for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the church’s Altar and Rosary Society, and was active in the Carlisle Township Volunteer Firefighter’s Auxiliary. Mrs. Schuster was an avid reader.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith (Joseph) Gross of Westlake; grandson, Brian Gross of San Francisco, California; granddaughter, Jennifer (Brian) Horn of Bay Village; and great grandson, Colin Horn of Bay Village; she is also survived by her brother, Ray; and sister, Eleanor.
Mrs. Schuster was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard P. (Bernie) Schuster in 2009; five sisters; three brothers; and her parents, Peter and Dominika (nee Klekotka) Traczyk.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 9 to 10:45 A.M. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary Catholic Church, 320 Middle Ave., Elyria at 11 A.M. with the Reverend Father Charles Diedrick, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
