Lorain blotter: Woman reports phone stolen

Saturday, Nov. 23

  • 9:30 p.m. — 2500 block Lexington Ave., a woman said her phone was stolen. She told police someone she knows might have taken it and the suspect was sleeping in a vacant house on West 22nd Street. When police went to that house, no one answered the door.

Sunday, Nov. 24

  • 10:15 a.m. — Globe Avenue, two people told police that their cars were parked near each other and tires were slashed on both vehicles.
  • 12:30 p.m. — 2600 block Jackson St., a man told police a dog bit him. The owner of the dog told police that the man threatened to kill the dog.
