Couple indicted in Medina County thefts

MEDINA — A Grafton couple was indicted by a Medina County grand jury on felony charges, accused of a series of break-ins of houses in Liverpool, Granger and York townships starting in April.

Jerimiah N. Covey, 35, and his wife, Shannon R. Covey, 29, were charged last week with three counts of burglary, second-degree felonies punishable by up to eight years in prison each.

Jerimiah Covey is scheduled for arraignment Monday before Medina County Common Pleas Judge Christopher J. Collier. Shannon Covey will enter a plea Dec. 5 before Medina County Common Pleas Judge James L. Kimbler.
