Brian E. “Big B” Gregory, 52, of Elyria, passed away peacefully Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, following a short illness. Mr. Gregory was born in Los Angeles, California, moving to Elyria 14 years ago.
He was employed at Riddell all American Sports in Elyria as an assembler. He was a member of Cathedral of Praise in Lorain. He enjoyed drawing and was an avid sports fan of the LA Lakers and Oakland Raiders.
Mr. Gregory will be missed by his wife, Stephanie Gregory (nee Nixon); daughter, Nehilia Hussen of Los Angeles, California; sons, Dominique Modisett, Christopher A. Gregory and Giovanni (Nina) Gregory, all of San Jose, California; grandchildren, Christopher Gregory, Sean Gregory, Mya Gregory, Christian Gregory; sister, Romelda Harrison of Bailey, Mississippi; brothers, Craig Gregory of Bailey, Mississippi, Harold Gregory of San Jose, California; ex-wife, Adrian Gregory; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Gregory; maternal grandmother and grandfather; grandmother, Marie Jackson; and grandfather, Tharyer Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the God’s Kingdom Church, 1671 North Ridge Rd., Lorain and Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 11 A.M. until the time of services at 12 Noon. Rev. Kelvin Roberts, Pastor of Place of Meeting Church, Elyria, will officiate.
