Critter Chronicles: Spike

Sweet Spike here. He was surrendered to Friendship because he was too active for his family. Spike loves people including kids of all ages but he’s very strong and will need some training so may not be the best fit if there are younger kids in the family. He’s dog friendly but plays rough with cats. Spike will also need a fenced in yard as he breaks chains if tied out. This fellow has manners in the home and is house trained too. He will even put a paw on your knee if he needs to go potty. Spike loves to play, loves to ride in the car and was described by his family as a social butterfly. If you have the time to train Spike, he would be a great addition to your family.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
